Children and teens think they are invincible… that it can't happen to them. Their own silence can be the worst trap for them. We offer a safe and caring place to talk and be heard. Dawn's Light offers support groups to work with kids and teens, encouraging self-worth and giving rise to a renewed sense of meaning and purpose for their lives. they are trying to end their pain"
We are one of only seven Yellow Ribbon Teen Suicide Prevention Chapters in the state of California. Dawn's Light works in collaboration with the Josh Ditler Foundation of Hope. Through the Josh Ditler Foundation of Hope, we are able to begin providing suicide prevention for our local high schools. Two high school students from Sonora High and Summerville High have made suicide prevention their senior project and Nansea is mentoring them through this school year.
