Alot of times, people don't offer grief support to children… or even to adults. That's because they don't know what to say, so they don't say anything. Our grief center becomes an oasis for people who are grieving. They, and whatever feelings and emotions they are feeling at that time, can be accepted, and we can help educate them about what grief is, and that what they are experiencing is normal. They will have mental, physical, emotional and behavioral reactions to the loss of a loved one. Those are all normal reactions. Our work at Dawn's Light helps to make people more comfortable with their grief experience.

In addition to providing grief support to groups and individuals, we also offer grief education and training for other community members who want to offer grief support services, either as a volunteer with Dawn's Light or in a hospice or church grief program.
